Dear Shoals Club Members,
We hope you are enjoying a wonderful
summer at the Shoals Club. We appreciate that the
overwhelming majority of members cherish good manners and
proper dress in our family-friendly private club.
Please see important information
below to help you, your family, and guests to enjoy the Shoals Club.
The Shoals Club promotes a family-friendly environment.
Members, their guests, and temporary Guest Members must dress in a
tasteful fashion so as not to make other members uncomfortable.
Please see the Shoals Club dress code with a few
updates:
- Gentlemen of all ages
must remove hats inside Club amenities.
- Gentlemen of all ages
must wear collared shirts, and they must be tucked into slacks
or shorts, unless approved by Club Management as acceptable
fashion, or for an event. (Please note – The Club is currently
recognizing appropriate intentionally designed untucked collared
shirts for gentlemen as acceptable current fashion. This does
not include standard golf, dress, and sport shirts that are
designed to be tucked in.)
- Ladies
of all ages may not wear extremely short skirts, revealing
clothes, and Brazilian cut swimwear and clothing.
- Persons wearing
swimming apparel, without coverups, are not allowed inside the
Shoals Clubhouse.
- T-shirts,
hoodies, tank tops, sweatshirts, flip flops, tennis, and fitness
apparel are not acceptable for evening dining in Aqua and
Latitudes. (Collared shirts are required for gentlemen of all
ages)
- Tank tops, bathing
suits, cutoffs and coverups are not permitted inside the Shoals
Club.
- For
evening dining inside the Shoals Club, slacks, dress shorts, and
dress denim (no holes, no frayed edges) are acceptable.
- Ladies
are expected to dress in a fashion compatible with the dress
required of gentlemen.
- Members
and their guests are expected to wear shoes everywhere on Club
property, except in the pool area.
- Members are
responsible for ensuring their guests and renters are in compliance with the Club dress code.
- Approved attire may
be purchased in the Shoals Club Front Office or Sand Bar Grille.
We thank you for your support of the
Shoals Club and wish you and your family a happy summer.
